Microsoft Gold Partner - DevOps

We are thrilled to announce that IJYI has achieved GOLD status within the Microsoft DevOps Partner competency, joining an elite club of Microsoft partners in the country to have achieved this status.

As well as providing significant build and release management automation for our clients using the Microsoft toolset such as the Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS), on-premise Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Mobile App Deployment using Xamarin, IJYI personnel have been required to pass qualifying DevOps exams and certifications to prove capability.

“Achieving this level of partnership status with Microsoft specifically within the DevOps competency has taken some time to gather the required customer references and pre-requisites, but this really showcases IJYI’s capability within the Microsoft delivery toolset and opens the doors to allow us to deliver quality consultancy to Microsoft’s enterprise customers under the Developer Tools Deployment Planning Services (DTDPS) scheme.”

– Chris Pont, Director, IJYI

About Developer Tools Deployment Planning Services (DTDPS)

Under the Developer Tools Deployment Planning Services (DTDPS) scheme (an often overlooked benefit of the Microsoft Software Assurance programme), Microsoft customers are able to take advantage of a limited number of consultancy services days (based on the number of volume licenses purchased) from Gold DevOps Partners at no additional cost. These engagements are designed to help organisations plan deployment of Visual Studio development tools such as VSTS and make use of Quality Tools such such as Microsoft Test Manager.

What is DevOps?

DevOps is used to describe the improved relationship between the Development and Operations business units within an organisation using tools, cultural change and practices to increase that organisations ability to deliver. Often this results in development and operations roles becoming merged, an automated build and release pipeline and an increase in feedback from monitoring tools to encourage continuous improvement.
