This week saw the IJYI management team hosting an Executive Roundtable event. In the first of what we plan to be a series of events we invited influential business leaders from around Ipswich to join us at our office to discuss how to really drive business profitability through bespoke software and cloud technology.
“It was fantastic to have some debate around a potential “4th Industrial Revolution” and explain how our software delivery process works, why bespoke software could increase profitability and the financial benefits such as grants and R&D tax credits that may be available.” Chris Pont, CEO, IJYI
The agenda covered:
- The Big Picture – The 4th Industrial Revolution
- Defining bespoke software, cloud technology and the internet of things
- The process of considering what and how technologies may benefit your business
- Case studies
- Financial benefits
- Drinks, buffet and networking
Delegates discussed the advantages of the different cloud models and the implications on security. Internet of Things and Big Data proved to be hot topics and prompted some fascinating discussions amongst the group.
We also took some time to explain bespoke software development “the IJYI way” and Our Chief Financial Officer, Justin Nevison-Grainger gave some fantastic advice on maximising return on investment on bespoke software.
